The engine light came on with P0133 and my 96 rav4 started having trouble to accelerate. We got the bosch from amazon initially which was listed as an up stream but it was a down stream sensor (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000BZI0O2). We then tried a generic one from Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GH5HTPM) which someone claimed it worked for their rav4. While the connector seemed to be a good fit, the sensor was much shorter. We didn't see any improvement and the engine light came on again right after we missed the 30 days return period. We spoke with our mechanic who was confident it was still the O2 sensor and we should stick with bosch or denso 'especially' for honda or toyota. We got this denso and my rav4 finally can accelerate and is back to normal. It is an old car with 200K+ miles so we were trying to minimize the repair costs. It was a big mistake and we would go crazy hunting down exhaust leaks, fuel sensor ... etc. ruling out a bad new O2 sensor if not because we were lucky to know a good mechanic in our area.
